VALENTINE’S DAY WITH YOUR LOVER
It’s time to get pampered and romanced babes! It’s always so exciting to put on your cutest Valentine’s day inspired outfit and to blindly escape into a romance coma with your lover. Googly eyed and feeling sexy, just the way cupid intended. Depending on the kind of girl you are, or better yet, the kind of couple you are; I’ve put together a few looks for the special holiday! Finding that special someone is hard enough so bask in your luck by making the day and night extra special. Wrap yourself in silk and lace and don’t forget that red lip to leave marks of your kisses all over… wink wink.
ROMANTIC DATE NIGHT
For a romantic and equally fancy date, I have to go with a red dress. Red is a striking color and will definitely turn heads. Off-the-shoulder is a great choice matched with a heart-shaped red bag and matching red pumps. Pumps are always a classic touch when considering a dress code. Slip on a long silk duster with a touch of jewelry and you’re looking like a movie star. ALSO, don’t forget about the power of a woman’s scent. Always have with you a perfume for an added dose of allure and that slow seduction. If you don’t know what to wear, but you know he’s wearing a suit, this is definitely your look! CASUAL DATE NIGHT
For a more casual romantic outing, such as dinner and a movie, I went with a skirt and parka look. This outfit is my favorite because ‘yo girl likes to stay comfortable.’ I’d probably go with the shorter heel version on the Valentino Velvet Sandals (featured under SHOP THE POST below). The look embraces the holiday theme, but is subtle and also playful. The heart stud details and the nude/pink hues tie girly and sexy together for a fun date night with the honey.
SEXY DATE NIGHT
Lingerie in red, nude, and black for the after-after party is always necessary on the sexiest night of the year. My personal favorite is red because it’s seductive and perfectly themed. Nude is also on point and will leave little to the imagination. And who doesn’t have a classic black little number tucked away for those steamy nights? You can never go wrong with some black lace so stock up as it works pretty much all year round. If you’re the couple who stays in for a night of food, wine, candles, and lots of steam… this may be the only outfit that you need.
