Oh how do I love lace…. let me count the ways. One of the ways is this dress y’all! Leave it to this Jenny Yoo Harlow Dress to bring out the glam in me. I knew I had to bust out the red lip and fur because although this dress is ever so lady-like, the metallic swirls in the lace suggest a hint of rebel and maybe I’m not always a lady… wink wink. I can definitely relate to that. When I put together this ensemble I immediately felt sexy in that vintage 50s Mad Men type o’ way. I hope that comes across in these photos. Now I am ready for my gangster husband to come pick me up in a vintage rolls for some martinis out on the town.

So I did a second look with this dress because I really wanted to show how adding on different pieces can change up the look of a fancy dress into a more casual vibe. I’m a pro at hiding, tucking and adjusting my clothes so what I did was raise up the hem by tucking in the fabric into the middle seam and slapping on a belt to distract you. Then I topped the whole thing with a longer vest to hide the mess in the back and blammo! Instant mini version of the Harlow dress. Does anyone else do this? Haha.

For the month of October, Jenny Yoo is donating a portion of her sales to American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. $20 of every bridesmaid dress will be donated to American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. So if you need a staple lace dress, I would snap one up in October and help out a great cause!
Hot diva on the run 😉 lol Love both looks! x
That dress is gorgeous! I can’t believe it’s a bridesmaid dress!!
