It’s no secret that I’ve got a love affair with lace. I always have and I always will. So it’s no surprise that my first festival look for Free People is highlighting one amazing lace tunic. I love everything about this tunic. The open shoulders, the big bell sleeves, the lace pattern on the edges… love love loooooove! But the best was standing out in an ocean of muscle tees and crop tops at Lollapalooza. I’m not gonna lie, this year I felt so out of place at Lolla. Though I had a great time, the environment seemed less and less about the music but more about drug infused teens and college students. Talk about feeling like an old fart. I guess only us old folks like to get our buzz the normal way… from boozin’. Day one started off with a bit of rain but thank goodness it stopped and actually kept the night pretty cooled down. Perfect weather to watch Eminem do his thing and of course everyone went nutso bonkers when RiRi came out as a special guest. But the absolute bestest part was hanging out with some awesome friends and watching some crazies in the crowd. Also knocking back a water bottle filled with wine while jamming out to some Iggy iggs was not too shabby either. Hehehe. Hope you enjoy this first look!
